There are immediate openings in my group at Université Laval (Québec, Canada) for fully funded MSc or PhD student in the area of integrated lasers for silicon photonics.
Our research focuses on cutting-edge topics such as:
– Ultra-coherent chip-scale lasers
– Quantum-dot lasers for LiDAR and optical computing
– Frequency combs for terabit-class communication
Who we’re looking for:
– Background in photonics, optics, EE, applied physics, or related fields
– Passion for innovative research
– Experience in device simulation, design, or experiments is a plus
